About this Role

Are you a Class 1 Driver looking for a new opportunity, or an experienced HGV Driver or LGV Driver looking for a fresh challenge? Every day is different in this role. You will play an important part in keeping our operation moving by delivering excellent service while ensuring vehicles are moved safely, professionally and efficiently.

• Deliver and collect vehicles between customer sites, Dawsongroup locations and workshop premises.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and report defects, incidents or issues promptly.
• Present vehicles for MOT and support with vehicle check in and check out processes.
• Help maintain vehicle standards through cleaning and preparing vehicles when required.
• Support wider operational activity, including varied driving duties and occasional branch support tasks.

About You

You may already be working as a Class 1 Driver, HGV Driver or LGV Driver, or perhaps you are looking for a role where your driving experience can open the door to something broader. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys variety and understands the importance of professionalism when representing a business.

• Hold a current UK Class 1 LGV or HGV licence and Driver Qualification Card.
• Comfortable working safely and following driving legislation and company procedures.
• Able to complete basic paperwork and vehicle reporting accurately.
• Present yourself in a professional and customer focused way.
• Bring a flexible approach, as no two days will look exactly the same.
