Salary : circa £36,500 pa (£12.70ph @57.5 hours/wk) + bonuses and allowances on top c£2-£3k pa
Hours : 57. /5 day wk guaranteed (more possible)
23 days holiday + BH
Overnights 1-4 /wk
MacArthur Recruitment is seeking a Class 1 HGV Driver to deliver our customer’s finished goods across the UK.
Main duties and responsibilities for the role of HGV Driver, Class 1 :
- To drive class 1 vehicles transporting products, across the UK (with a couple of nights tramping a week)
- To complete all paperwork comprehensively and on time to comply with regulations
- To manage time effectively to ensure jobs are completed within the allocated timeframe
- To maintain a safe vehicle through comprehensive reporting of defects and issues in the correct manner to the right departments
- Adhering to all traffic regulations, industry standards and road safety.
Qualifications and experience for the role of HGV Driver :
- Class 1 (C + E) licence
- Experience of driving in the UK
- Full CPC and digi-tacho card
- Good understanding of driver’s hours and working time
- Ability to complete paperwork
