HGV Driver

Are you an experienced HGV Driver looking for a new opportunity? 

We are seeking dedicated (Class 2 CAT C) drivers to join our team working across west Yorkshire.

The ideal candidates will be responsible for a variety of tasks working on our long-term contract with Northern PowerGrid, ensuring that all duties are performed safely to the highest standards.

Duties and responsibilities: 

• Safely operate an HGV vehicle in compliance with company and legal standards.
• Collecting and dropping off Barriers.
• Complete all required paperwork accurately.
• Loading and unloading plant equipment.
• Collection of cable and delivering goods to various sites.
• Able to prioritise workload, make decisions & identify improvements were needed.
• Working as part of a team on tasks associated with the construction and maintenance of the electric network.
• Conduct vehicle checks and report any issues.
• Reporting any material damages to management.

Skills and experience: 

• Full UK Driving licence 
• Class 2 CAT C 
• Ability to communicate
• Self-motivated and organised.
• Team player, and able to work on own initiative.
• Must have Professional and positive approach
• previous experience of working on underground electric infrastructure is desired
• Time management
• First Aid
• Manual handling
• CPC
