About the role:

We are currently looking for a Full-time Driver to join the Trents Wholesale team, delivering products to our customers as required, in a timely and accurate manner. This role will provide an opportunity to begin a career with a company that fosters personal development and encourages internal promotion.
Working hours for this role is:     6:00am-3:30pm Tuesday - Saturday

Key Accountabilities:

• Safely and effectively carry out all scheduled and short notice deliveries to Foodstuffs and Trents customers on time and within company guidelines
• Ensure you operate within all legal/NZTA/NZ driving requirements at all times including all EROAD logbook entries
• Load and unload vehicles safely
• Ensure consignments are fully checked and signed for
• Other duties as requested by the Supervisor or Branch Manager
• Support the purpose, vision and values of FSSI.

About you:

• Full, current, clean NZ driver’s licence with all necessary classes/endorsements
• Knowledge of the local geographical area 
• Proven customer service experience and the ability to think on your feet to offer solutions 
• Proven communication and interpersonal skills
• Computer skills would be an advantage
