Academy Minibus Driver

Wycombe Wanderers are looking to recruit two minibus drivers for its new academy to provide a reliable, positive and safe transport service for academy players (aged 15–19 years old) between club facilities and host families.

These two positions in our Academy will be responsible for:

• A punctual & safe minibus service using club vehicles for Academy players between designated pick-up points, education providers, host families and/or club training venues.
• Creating a positive and welcoming environment for all young people on your care
• Abide with all club policies including all safeguarding procedures.
• Maintain club vehicles and ensure they are clean & tidy.

Do you have what it takes?
You’ll have years of experience behind the wheel and possess a clean record without any driving convictions. The successful candidates will enjoy working as part of a team, be enthusiastic and flexible to the requirements of the position and the business with a reliable and timely approach. You should be passionate about supporting the development of young people and enjoy providing them with opportunity and support. Applicants should ideally live local to Harlington area or the surrounding areas and be a UK resident or non-UK resident with a valid UK work permit.

The successful candidates will need to hold the following:

• Full, clean & valid driving license
• Years of driving experience
• Experience of driving minibuses
• Experience and a passion for working with young people
• An understanding of football or high-performance environments
• Desirable: D1 UK driving license or MIDAS training

All shortlisted candidates will need to complete a driver assessment as part of the interview process. By law, you’ll be required to have an DBS Enhanced Criminal Record Check.
