We’re looking to grow our dedicated transport team with the addition of two reliable Class 1 Trunker Drivers.
Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Class 1 Trunker to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in commercial driving. As a Class 1 Trunker, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and timely delivery of goods, contributing to the overall efficiency of our logistics operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate a Class 1 (C+E) vehicle to complete trunking runs between depots and hubs
- Ensure timely and safe delivery of goods to designated locations
- Conduct and log daily vehicle checks, ensuring roadworthiness
- Complete all necessary paperwork and digital records accurately
- Report any delays, incidents, or vehicle issues promptly
- Adhere to all transport and driving regulations
- Maintain a professional attitude at all times
Requirements
- Valid UK Class 1 (C+E) licence with a clean driving record.
- Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
- Strong understanding of road safety regulations and best practices in transportation.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Strong understanding of driving hours and working time regulations
- Comfortable working night shifts and independently
- Experience in a similar trunking role preferred
Available Positions & Shifts:
We are currently recruiting for two full-time drivers:
- Position 1:
- Shift: Sunday to Thursday
- Start Time: 8:00 PM
- Position 2:
- Shift: Monday to Friday
- Start Time: 8:00 PM
These are night trunking roles — no customer drops.
