Our client is recruiting for an HGV Class 1 Driver to join their waste and recycling operation based in Ellesmere Port. This is a strong opportunity for professional Class 1 drivers looking for steady weekday work, excellent overtime rates, and the chance to secure a permanent position.

As an HGV Class 1 Driver, you will be responsible for operating a walking floor vehicle and completing local waste collection routes. This role offers consistent hours and strong earning potential, with enhanced rates available for overtime and weekends.

Key Responsibilities

• Driving an HGV Class 1 walking floor vehicle safely and efficiently
• Completing local waste collection routes
• Carrying out daily vehicle checks and completing paperwork
• Ensuring all health and safety procedures are followed
• Representing the company in a professional manner at all times

Requirements

• Valid HGV Class 1 licence Category C plus E
• CPC and Digital Tachograph card
• Walking floor experience is desirable but not essential
• Local route knowledge is an advantage
• Strong focus on safety and compliance
