About WSR 

Part of the Beauparc Group, WSR is a trusted transport company based in Widnes, WA8 0PA. We're currently seeking a professional and reliable HGV Class 1 Driver to join our team. 

The Role 

We're looking for an experienced Class 1 driver to operate walking floor trailers, transporting materials to various locations. You'll play a key role in our operations, ensuring safe and timely deliveries. 

Working Hours
  • Monday to Friday, with occasional Saturdays
  •  Start time is  6am
  •  45-minute paid break per shift 
Key Responsibilities
  • Safely operate a Class 1 HGV with a walking floor trailer.
  •  Conduct daily vehicle checks and report any issues promptly.
  •  Adhere to all transport regulations, including drivers’ hours and Working Time Directive.
  •  Maintain accurate records. 

Essential Requirements
  • Valid UK HGV Class 1 licence with current Driver CPC.
  • Digital tachograph card.
  • Proven experience driving Class 1 HGV vehicles.
  • Strong knowledge of vehicle safety.
  • Excellent communication skills. 

What We Offer 

  • Pay Rate: £15.26 per hour. 

  • Overtime: £19.08 per hour. 

  • Holiday: 20 days holiday plus bank holidays.
