Van Driver Towing

Are you ready to be a part of our rapidly developing business. We are looking for a talented LCV Driver Demonstrator to join our team to ensure timely collection and deliveries from customer sites whilst consistently meeting or exceeding customer expectations.

What will you be doing?

• Operating light commercial vehicles of up to 3.5 tonnes for transportation of goods
• Ensuring the vehicle is safe and roadworthy before commencing any journey, as well as the safe loading, unloading and security of the vehicle load
• Visiting customer locations, communicating with both internal and external customers
• Demonstrating the use of Sunbelt machines, answering and resolving customer queries
• Provide support in the yard 
• Ensuring that the legal and company safety requirements, alongside the working time directive regulations are adhered to at all times

What are we looking for?

• Minimum of driving license category B+E for towing – with no more than 6 points
• LCV driving experience is essential 
• Tachograph is beneficial, however not essential 
• Towing experience is desirable, however training can be provided 
• Proactive approach to safety of company vehicles and other drivers
• Customer service experience, with the ability to demonstrate a polite manner at all times when visiting customer premises
• Ability to use IT systems
• Problem solving skills and good communication skills
• Geographical knowledge (desirable)
• Basic equipment maintenance and performance of equipment familiarisation handovers (desirable)
